OptiX 10G (Metro5000) is a 10G optical transmission equipment, which has the advantages of large capacity, high integration, flexible configuration, more flexible networking, large capacity and low-order aggregation scheduling.

Strong cross-connect ability
The crossover clock board provides high-order cross-connection with 120g capacity.
Low-order cross-connect boards provide low-order crossover with 10G capacity.
Hybrid cross-connect and clock processing board provide high-order cross-connection with 120g capacity and low-order cross-connection with 5G capacity.
Enhanced hybrid cross-connect and clock processing board provide high-order cross-connection with 120g capacity and low-order cross-connection with 20g capacity.
Supports multiple network element type configurations and MADM.
The configuration of OptiX 10G (Metro5000) devices is quite flexible. Each network element can be configured as a single REG, TM, ADM, or its combination, or as a MADM (multi-ADM) system with a combination of STM-1, STM-4, STM-16, and STM-64 interfaces, and to realize the cross-connection of services among multiple systems.

Perfect protection mechanism
OptiX 10G (Metro5000) device protection mechanism includes device-level protection and network-level protection.
Provide 1×1 hot backup protection for crossover board, clock board, and power board, and can support 1×1 protection of two groups of low-order crossover boards (2 groups of 10G or 1 group of 20G, 1 group of 10G or 1 group of 10G, 1 group of 5G) at the same time.

Supports two-fiber / four-fiber multiplexing segment ring protection, shared fiber virtual path protection, DNI protection, etc.
SNCP protection supports high-and low-level services, supports switching between SNCP and ordinary services, and can dynamically change the recovery mode of SNCP.
Supports linear multiplexing segment protection of 1mm 1, 1:1, 1Rom N, and supports VC-4 level multiplexing segment suppression.

Powerful ECC processing power
OptiX 10G (Metro5000) equipment provides the processing capacity of 80 channels of ECC, which ensures that it can still maintain the penetration of ECC information in the event of a failure of the main control board, which can meet the requirements of complex networking.
Fully functional network management system.
OptiX iManager, a network management system based on UNIX and Windows operating system platform, can be used for OptiX.
The complex network composed of 10G (Metro5000) and other OptiX optical transmission systems centrally operates, maintains and manages (OAM), to configure and schedule the bandwidth and service resources of the transport network to ensure the safe operation of the network.

Power supply and environmental monitoring function
